Welcome graphic

Rabuor Community Self Help Organization is an non-profit organization based in Rabuor- a small community by the shores of Lake Victoria, Kenya. This community of about 4,000 people has an estimated HIV/AIDS prevalence rate of between 28-31%. About 55% of its population live below the poverty line as described by the United Nations

Our objective is to provide hope to the rising number of widows and orphans through small businesses, education, and sentization on HIV risks. To this end we work with a number of non-governmental organizations and volunteers.

We'll use this site to get the word out on our organization and create a better sense of community among our members. We'll also include pictures of our work and members.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring hope to orphans and widows through community development programs (such as small scale farming, arts and crafts), education, and standing with the weak.
